Wedding pizza 2027: when to book, how much to order and where it fits in the day

Published: September 3, 2026

Short answer: if you already have a 2027 date, book now. The wedding season runs May to October, and oven-baked pizza most often joins the day as late-night food, the second meal after midnight, or at the day-after party. Below is everything to settle so the oven stand works with the venue, the timeline and the headcount. Packages start from 1,600 PLN including VAT.

Three places in the wedding timeline

Late-night food, around midnight. The most common option. After the cake and a few hours of dancing, guests come back to the tables hungry, and a traditional venue serves a cold platter or borscht at that point. Pizza straight from the oven works better than anything that can be prepared in advance. Service takes 1-2 hours depending on numbers.

The day-after party. Day two, a looser mood, often in a garden or on a terrace. Pizza replaces the barbecue and nobody has to stand at the grill. It pairs well with a cold platter and the Italian soft drinks from our offer.

A second dinner instead of a classic course. Rarer, for couples who want to step away from the venue formula. Pizza is then the main meal of the evening and we count it differently.

How much pizza to order

The base rule is half a pizza per guest when pizza is a full, separate meal. A wedding for 120 people is 60 pizzas. With late-night food some guests have already left or are not hungry, so half a pizza per person leaves a margin.

If pizza is one of several attractions (another food truck next to it, or a generous cold buffet), a third is enough. If it is the main course of the evening, we plan more. The exact number is agreed in the quote, and the package is the ceiling you are billed for.

One oven produces around 25 pizzas an hour; a crew with two ovens makes 40-50. Sixty pizzas is an hour and a half of service with one crew, which fits the late-night window exactly.

Venue logistics

The stand goes where guests can see it: terrace, entrance, garden. The oven is part of the show, and hiding it behind the building defeats the purpose. Outdoors we bring gas ovens, indoors electric ones, so the weather decides where we stand, not whether the wedding happens.

Three things to agree with the venue before the wedding, ideally by us rather than you:

  • space for the stand and vehicle access,
  • power access for the indoor option,
  • the service time written into the run sheet, so the DJ and waiters know.

We set up in 30 minutes and clean up after ourselves. Vegetarian options are in every menu; allergies and other dietary needs go in the notes of your enquiry and are passed to the crew.

When to book the 2027 season

Weddings are the peak of our season: May, June, August, September, Saturdays. Those dates go first, and booking many months ahead is the norm, not caution. If your date is fixed, write to us in autumn 2026, not spring 2027.

The technical minimum notice is three days, because the sourdough ferments for 48 hours. But for a wedding that limit is irrelevant; what matters is a free Saturday in the calendar.

What an enquiry looks like

You send the form with the date, town, headcount and where in the wedding the pizza should appear. The system checks straight away whether the date is free. The quote arrives by email; packages start from 1,600 PLN including VAT. Then a contract, a deposit, and the date is yours.

Have a date? Check it in the form, it takes a minute.

Common questions

When should we book wedding pizza for 2027?

The season runs May to October and weekends fill up many months ahead. If you have a date, write now, especially for June, August and September.

How much pizza for a wedding?

Half a pizza per guest when pizza is a meal in its own right, for example late-night food. For 120 guests that is 60 pizzas. If it is one of several attractions, we plan less.

What do wedding packages start from?

Packages from 1,600 PLN including VAT. The exact quote is sent by email after your enquiry.

Can the stand be set up at the wedding venue?

Yes. We usually set up on the terrace, by the entrance or in the venue garden, so guests can see the oven. Setup takes 30 minutes and we agree it with the venue in advance.
